Staying here with my small child was really convenient, especially with everything just a short walk away. We were thrilled to be minutes from the vibrant Place de la Republique, where we enjoyed delicious pastries at nearby cafes. The staff went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable.
In my wife's opinion, the shower could use an upgrade as there was a curtain instead of a proper door. It would have been great to have a more family-friendly setup in the bathroom.

The location of the Excelsior in Paris is fantastic. Just a short walk to the metro and several lovely cafes nearby. The staff here are really friendly and eager to help. My room had a charming view that felt distinctly French, adding a lovely touch to my stay. However, the room itself was quite small and definitely in need of a makeover. The shower pressure was low, making it a bit frustrating. While the continental breakfast was fine, nothing special caught my eye. I appreciated the convenience of having a cafe right across the street. Overall, a decent spot for a quick trip, but keep your expectations in check regarding the room condition.

The location near the metro made it incredibly convenient for exploring, especially with friends. The room was surprisingly spacious for the area, making it comfortable for three travelers. However, I encountered staff that ranged from helpful to rude, impacting the overall experience. Despite some cleanliness concerns circulating in reviews, my stay was clean throughout, which was refreshing and unexpected.
